Almost everybody ignores Cleveland Club, but they are the best I can find in this industry. Turbo is their model aimed at the higher handicaps, and they are probably the most accessible Club I have ever hit.

I feel it is ideal for people with a slower rate of play. It was built to raise it high in the sky, give the ball a straight flight, and generate maximum distance from a beginner golfer.

I loved the Launchers of the previous year, but I think the latest Turbo is better. It’s not fancy or adjustable and does not shape the balls. I use Cleveland irons and have a wedge, and I like them.

PING G410

If you are slower swinging and want something truly forgiven, this is one of your alternatives. PING is slightly underreported, but the Club is perfect for mid to low-handicap golfers.

I would choose Cleveland instead because that’s less expensive, but both clubs look similar. You can use this Club in the toe, heel, or low position, and the ball can move quite straight. The nice thing is you’re going to hit more fairways.

It really can help get you up to mid-to-high handicaps. The negative thing is hitting the drawing and then dying.

Callaway Mavrik Max (My #1 Pick)

Callaway produces some of their most popular product ranges, but the Mavrik Max is a 2019 fairway wood for high handicap golfers.
