Initially launched in the 90s, the WEATHER SOF glove has been a massive success for FootJoy.
They claim two out of every ten golf gloves now choose to wear WeatherSof. I’m one of those 20 percent.
The golf glove uses a combination of Cabretta leather with synthetic materials. Together they generate a glove that’s flexible, soft, and above all, very durable.
The FootJoy Men’s WeatherSof Golf Glove is slightly more flexible than higher-end, complete leather gloves.
The synthetic look is elastic when you put it on that sits more comfortably on my fingers than a more rigid complete leather design.
That flexibility is enhanced with two Power Net mesh material stripes situated on the knuckles.

Golf Gloves & Golf Wear
These stripes stretch superior to the leather or the synthetic material, letting the glove fit perfectly when you grasp you are stiff and grip your club.
All that being said, the best thing about the FootJoy Men’s WeatherSof Golf Glove and the reason I pick it repeatedly is the fit and durability.
It does not wear or tear like all leather material tends to overtime and performs superior on warm, wet days.
All leather golf gloves need to be aired out after they get sweat and often take a while to recover.

FootJoy WeatherSof Glove Review
The FootJoy Men’s WeatherSof Golf Glove can absorb a slight rain and sweat nicely.
I’ve found that this might last up to twice as many rounds as a top-end leather glove.
If you are not fussed about the look and feel of an all-leather glove, do not waste your time looking for another.
Buy a few FootJoy Men’s WeatherSof Golf Gloves, and you will be sorted for your next 50-60 rounds.
